General
Chobe Safari Lodge is pleasantly situated by the Chobe river with great views overlooking the Chobe river especially at sunset.
There is a curio shop, swimming pool and a restaurant, overlooking the river, which does a superb buffet each evening as well as a la carte meals
throughout the day.
What to see and do
Like most of the lodges in the area Chobe Safari Lodge offers game viewing excursions into Chobe National Park as well as fishing trips and sunset
cruises on the river. If you are in the area a sunset cruise is a must with fantastic sightings of Elephant and numerous other animals as they come down to
drink. The Chobe Safari Lodge guides are well-trained and have a good knowledge of the local fauna and flora. Day trips to Victoria Falls are also
offered which is a hassle-free way of seeing the Falls.
Note that the boat trip cost excludes the entrance fee into Chobe National Park however if you go into the park in the morning you will
not need to pay again if you go on the boat cruise in the afternoon of the same day.
Accommodation
A wide range of accommodation is available with standard and family rooms, en-suite rondavels and A-frame tents just some of what is
on offer. There is also a campsite catering for the self-drive tourists.
