Audi Camp - Maun
Situated
along the banks of the Thamalakane river, 5km outside of Maun, this
camp is perfectly situated for tourists traveling to the Okavango and
Chobe. With a large campsite Audi Camp caters for the self-drive tourists
as well as overlanders. Tented accommodation is available as well as
luxury A-frame tents(pictured) which have en-suite facilities. There
is also an a la carte restaurant, which is recommended, and a swimming
pool.

Chobe Safari Lodge - Kasane
Chobe Safari Lodge is pleasantly situated by the Chobe river with great views of the river especially at sunset. A wide range of
accommodation is available with luxury hotel rooms, en-suite rondavels and A-frame tents just some of what is on offer. There is also a campsite
catering for the self-drive tourists.
There is a curio shop, swimming pool and a restaurant, overlooking the river, which does a superb buffet each evening.
Like most of the lodges in the area Chobe Safari Lodge offers excursions into Chobe National Park as well as fishing trips and sunset cruises
on the river. If you are in the area a sunset cruise is a must with fantastic sightings of Elephant and numerous other animals as they come down to
drink. The Chobe Safari Lodge guides are well-trained and have a good knowledge of the local fauna and flora.
Note that the boat trip cost excludes the entrance fee into Chobe National Park however if you go into the park in the morning you will
not need to pay again if you go on the boat cruise in the afternoon of the same day.

Nata Lodge - Nata
Nata is 2hrs north of Francistown and 3hrs south of both Maun and Kasane - see
map. The Lodge is located 10km south of Nata village and due to its
beautiful setting, good location and friendly atmosphere has become one of the most popular places for tourists wishing to break their journey.
Accommodation takes the form of thatched chalets, A-frame tents and a campsite with some of the best ablutions in any camping site in Botswana!
Nata Lodge arrange tours to most of Botswana's reserves as well as excursions into the Makgadikgadi Pans which are nearby. Quad biking in the
grasslands surrounding the lodge is also available.
A good restaurant (the cooked breakfast is recommended) and well-stocked shop make this a good place to stop even if you don't plan to stay
the night.
